Consultant Neurologist

Dr Onajite Kousin-Ezewu sees adult patients with neurological disorders including migraines, blackouts, epilepsy, TIAs (mini-strokes), stroke, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. 

My main research interest is in Multiple Sclerosis and I am the lead for Multiple Sclerosis at Milton Keynes University Hospital. 

I am happy to see patients suffering from headache and I am able administer new injectable treatments for headache management such as Botulinum toxin injections (Botox), greater occipital nerve injections and the calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) antagonists Erenumab (Aimovig), Fremanezumab (Ajoy) and Galcanezumab (Emgality). 

I am also willing to see patients suffering from long term neurological symptoms post COVID-19 infection. 

From August 2018 I have been a Consultant at Milton Keynes University Hospital in Buckinghamshire. I trained in neurology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen’s Square in London. 

I have published many papers in international medical journals and have spoken on these subjects at local, regional and international meetings. 

I enjoy teaching and completed the post graduate certificate in medical education at the University of Cambridge. I use this expertise to teach medical students from the University of Oxford and Buckingham. 

Outside of neurology I am a family man and have two children. I am very interested in sports and (when allowed by my children) follow very closely my beloved Surrey county cricket club and the Arsenal. 

I am happy to see patients for their neurology problems either in person at the Saxon clinic in Milton Keynes or virtually either by a video consultation or by telephone. I am recognised by all the major insurance companies. I can be flexible in when patients are seen so please liaise with my secretarial team if you wish to be seen outside of office hours.
